Southeast Sulawesi Exports Increased by 51.96 Percent in May 2020

Southeast Sulawesi's export value in May 2020 was recorded at US $ 179.56 million or an increase of 51.96 percent compared to April 2020's export which was recorded at US $ 118.16 million. Meanwhile, the export volume in May 2020 was recorded at 136.05 thousand tons or an increase of 46.14 percent compared to April 2020 exports which recorded 93.10 thousand tons.
Southeast Sulawesi's total exports during January-May 2020 reached 527.62 thousand tons or US $ 714.35 million.
The import value of Southeast Sulawesi in May 2020 was recorded at US $ 105.31 million or an increase of 4.67 percent compared to April 2020 imports which were recorded at US $ 100.61 million. Meanwhile, import volume in May 2020 was recorded at 165.56 thousand tons or decreased by 24.35 percent compared to April 2020 imports which recorded 218.84 thousand tons.
Southeast Sulawesi's total imports during January-May 2020 reached 1,343.67 thousand tons or US $ 580.76 million.
